Questions chemists ask us
Do I need a new computer?
No. It runs in the browser on any PC, laptop or tablet you already have, and prints on your existing A4, A5 or 80 mm thermal printer. A barcode scanner works too: it types into the search box.
Can I bring my stock from Marg or my old software?
Yes. Export your stock list as Excel or CSV and upload it. We recognise common column names (Name, Batch, Expiry, Qty, MRP, PTR, GST…). On request we do the import for you.
Who sets it up?
We do. We create your store and send you a link on WhatsApp to set your password. You add your address, drug licence and pharmacist in a few minutes, and your website is live the same day.
What does my website show?
Your name, licence numbers, registered pharmacist, address, timings, map and services and, if you choose, which medicines are in stock and their prices. Customers can call or WhatsApp you in one tap.
Can customers see my purchase prices or quantities?
No. You choose whether to show stock and selling prices at all; exact quantities and purchase rates are never shown.
Can I use my own domain name?
Yes. Every store gets a free address like yourstore.medzy.in, and on the Hospital & chains plan you can point your own domain at it.
Does it need the internet?
Yes, billing and your website are online. A basic broadband or mobile hotspot connection is enough.
What if I want to leave?
Your data is yours. Ask us and we export your medicines, stock and bills to Excel.
